Chessbots giving away pieces?

The last couple of days, several of the Chess Bots seemed to be giving away pieces for no reason.  I've had several of the 1500 bots attack my Queen with unsupported bishops - and I just take them.  That made me wonder what was going on.  Then today, the Pablo-BOT and Joel-BOT were also both giving away pieces.  Pablo-BOT gave me both rooks for free.  Joel-Bot allowed an easy pawn fork of a Queen and knight ( I won the knight) and later allowed me to trap the Queen - and the game ended when it attacked my Queen with its one remaining Rook, which was undefended, and it was checkmate when I took it.

So, what the heck is going on with the BOTs?  I usually find them pleasantly  challenging.  But the last couple of days they seemed to have forgotten how to play.   Have they been hacked?  Or maybe a bad code update??

Is anyone else seeing this?

This has happened a bunch of times to me. I've only seen it on PC after recently switching to OperaGX. Bots are programmed to make mistakes and it seems like it's out of control based on what device I'm using to load Chess.com

Glad to hear that someone else is seeing it. I was beginning to fear that the bots had been playing that way all along and they still managed to beat me up until now. That would be a serious hit to my ego.frustrated

I posted about this in the past day too. Specifically mentioned bots Anna, Krush, and Wei. All are master level bots and all have dropped pieces against me in the past few days. Apparently something is affecting all their bots. Hopefully this will be corrected soon.
