In less than 1 second your account and your friends will be lost, cuz of chess.com Admins and there personal relationship to his/her friends or his/her known persons, you could lose your relationships as a compliment from an admin to a well known member for him/her, so I advice to do not accept any friends and I advice to forget about playing chess as long as such kind of admins still running this site. BTW get used to (Member account closed) phrase.

I am so very upset, the most easy way is just close other people accounts, WHY? because we became a looooot of members, but while it was new site (chesspark.com... althought the free account was only for 15 days) they were not closeing any accounts... they were making it the most great 15 days to make you do another account... no warnings, why should? just close it... it is a free account.

I have read your blog about chess.com admins and it doesn't make much sence. Admins do not have the power to close people's accounts. You seem to have some hostile attudes towards a lot of things in general.

I don't think you would get along very well with the members of my group and I'm sure you would not get along with me, because I am a Super Admin, and you don't like admins. Therefore I am rejecting your request for membership in my group.

hi bud , its true we all come here of free choice and generally what chess,com offers is why we are here

i dont like how unseen hands direct and control either but it happens

i think if a code of conduct for admins doesnt exist it should

we all came here as equals in status if not grade some of us got made admins

but does that entitle unfairness ? no it shouldnt but ive seen many examples of admins abusing teir "power" and that sux

i think the accunts closed is a different kettle of fish as this is beyond our ability to intervene unless you email your friends before the account is closed

this sets up a two way communication independent of cc and has helped a fair few get accounts reopened by getting their friends to query the decision on their behalf ( past ban re spambot , was overturned for me this way ) was doing match alerts,summat admins need to do now and again and got done for spamming

There is a difference between "Staff" who runs the website and "Admins" who create and manage groups/clubs within the website.

Admins are members just like you who go to the trouble to create and manage a place where people can come and engage in some form of common activity such as educational vote chess. If you create and manage a group then you have the right to remove me and keep me out of your group.

The idea that admins can "abuse their power" is rediculous. The only "power" an admin has is to decide group policy. If he does the work he has the right.

If a person named NN joins a group and tries to disrupt things then it is NN who is abusing power. If NN does not like the way the group does things then NN has the power to leave the group and seek a group that does things the way NN approves of. That is what we call "freedom".

Joining a group and then disrespecting the policies of that group through uncooperative behavior is "tyranny". Tyranny is when you impose your will upon others. Whether you are the governor or the governed it is still tyranny.

That is why the admin needs to have the "freedom" to remove or mute the disruptive member.

Only "Staff" can close a person's account.

you only refuse my words because you are an admin in some group, what about if you are an admin STUFF for chess.com, you will close my account right away then, as long as you REJECT me from your group... I am not saying an empty words guys, closing accounts is just a PCK thing and for nothing, most of the closing is for saying some thing could not match your desires, that's when they start to abuse there power...

some of chess.com admins is ok but there are some persons are not good, this is the way I think... I wish I am wrong really.
