Chess.com handicap for only one player

Hey. Dunno whether this is the right section for this or not, but I was wondering, why haven't they enabled us to choose how much time each player should have? For instance, make it able to play 3 min vs 1 min if a player has a 400 rating higher etc? That would be truly awesome and give me a chance to win against a NM or so. Maybe make 5 vs 2 or 3vs 1 standard search?

what are you on about? I was just saying they should implement a time handicap option

i dont play much live on here, but i think its a good idea. Ive played a bunch of otb handicap tournaments and they're alway fun

With your logic, why do we have time at all? How about letting a player have a year to make a move? :) Just because you're bad at blitz doesn't mean it shouldn't exist. Moronic.

Hinawi you have very strange logic lol

Lmao. I figured you're a 15 | 10 tryhard because that's the only rating you have. Why is 15 | 10 so much better than 5? Because your little brain gets to think? Just because you dont like something doesnt mean you have to bash on it.

And with your logic, every time someone makes a point you can just say "with your logic" and then make an extreme conclusion. Of course, let's only look at the extreme conclusions, because they are the only ones that resemble real life. Not.

So, apparently because in classical time controls it's impossible to play perfect chess just like in 1 minute bullet, we should just look at the two time controls as the same thing or something. Got it.

Chess.com unfortunately doesn't offer chess handicaps.  You can check out this site if you're interested.... http://www.velocitychess.com

This site allows ANY combination of piece and/or time handicap.  As a master against a weaker player for example, I might start with 1 minute to his 4 minutes, and also start down a knight.  That would be an interesting game and I think a lot of fun!

Dude, did you really bump a 6 month old thread just to advertise for your site? Not cool...

To be fair, if his site allows handicaps then it is a very relevant contribution to the thread.
