Thanks, but unfortunately none of the plastic sets in the chess.com shop appear to be the same as the ones being used in the coffee chess games.  I'm still working my way through the online chess suppliers but so far no luck.

If anyone can identify the exact pieces please let me know, I'd like to own a set.

@bishopsPawn3 It's in the description of their videos. This is the link they provide... https://www.amazon.com/WE-Games-Ultimate-Tournament-Staunton/dp/B07C2HPMQ5/ref=as_li_ss_tl?keywords=ultimate+chess+pieces&qid=1551418052&s=gateway&sr=8-4&&linkCode=sl1&tag=cchess-20&linkId=c9c3c4f37e592fc53b543ee48adeb2a8&language=en_US

Coffee chess sounds like you drink a cup of coffee everytime a piece or pawn is captured.

Sorry for the belated response, but it worked out very well indeed. The pieces are visually appealing, robust and a joy to use! They come in two different colours, Black and White and Black and Beige. I say Beige but it's more of a Butter Yellow. I couldn't decide which one I liked the most so got them both. I've attached images below.

The pieces are made in the style, shape and form of the Fischer Spassky set used in the 1972 world championship. I own a similar design of weighted wooden pieces but this plastic set is the best match I have found, both in appearance and weight. They are well felted so they can be used on wood boards as well as vinyl, silicone or as I've shown above, mouse pad style. The colour of the pieces is an attractive silk/matt finish and the beige pieces have a similar visual impact as light wooden pieces, being easy on the eye and contrasting well with the squares on a wide variety of different boards. Personally, I really like the colour of the beige pieces and find them visually appealing. The base diameter of the pieces are perfect for boards having squares of 55mm as shown in my images but I have used them on boards having 50mm and 60mm squares and they work equally well. The pieces are made from very durable tough plastic and I have found them to be very robust in use. I own other plastic chess sets that have become chipped and damaged but these appear to be very well made and intended to endure the rigours of transport and tournament play. This is now my favorite plastic chess set because in terms of the weight, balance and feel as well as visual appearance, they are a joy to use.
