Commissioning a chess set

I Would Like a Chess set made to my own design. Does anyone know of someone who might be able to make a chess set for me?

What design? I'm making a chain mail chessboard right now, but if you want one out of steel, or wood, or a quilt, the skillsets will be quite different.

I don't know of anyone who has actually done this, but Chessbazaar is one of the largest of the Indian chess sellers.  Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

I would check local fine woodworkers. If you're doing some version of Staunton, anyone worth their salt should be able to do a nice job on your design. Just for fun, here's an intersting guy making intersting sets in Slovakia: http://bestchessmenever.com

Would recommend Amritsar Ivory works as well, but he takes orders with minimum ten chess sets.

They have a sex chess sets but seem to be taking custom orders as well.

I can only speak for myself, but I don't think the author of the site would be annoyed by that. It happens often and we're used to it. I just had to point it out because, well... I'm Slovene. :)
