Maryam Mirzakhani is an American professor of Iranian origin, who teaches at Stanford University. 

Maryam at age 37 is the first ever woman to win the Fields Medal (about the award "Nobel" of mathematics). 

This great mathematical talent has found new ways to calculate the volume of objects with surfaces iperpoliche .. 

Maryam also won the  Award Brumental in 2009 and the Award Satter in 2013. 

Brava Maryam "...you are a rare combination of mathematical skills many different, audacity, and deep curiosity..."

Unfortunately, I have read that precisely in Iran, the country of origin of Maryam Mirzakhani, the news of his prestigious award has created absurd embarrassments and has not been given the proper and deserved prominence to this very special and ingenious woman in the various Iranian newspapers.

How absurd conditionings dictated by the envy of a society still too male chauvinist.

And this is true not only in Iran, but throughout the world, unfortunately...

Therefore great honors to Maryam and his brilliant intelligence!!!!! :-)

I wasn't trying to be nasty... after all, I went on to say "Other than that, your English is very good". I know many posters who use this site to improve both their Chess and their English.
