Unsure if anything positive can come from asking such a question. Also if chess is a turn off and it's something you truly enjoy then they may not be the one or they might act as if she cares which is cool. Life and chess, or hobbies in general can be healthy and balanced, and some people are more goal oriented there's a lot to achieve in chess and some might make that decision to sacrifice potential relationships.
