ummmmmm clipboard?
Copy/paste is messed up

ummmmmm clipboard?
I am copying things the same way I have always done... it used to work, now it doesn't.
I want to know if this happened because I copied and pasted too much stuff, too fast.

I also discovered that other accounts aren't facing this problem. Why am I getting special punishment?
Yeah It's not happening to me
Probably your computer?

It's not happening to me.
Perhaps it's your computer?
The computer used to let me do it... it doesn't anymore though

I highly doubt that's a chess.com problem

Normally I wouldn't care about this but I run a Club Wars event and I do a lot of copy and pasting things for it. so I do care
When i copy words that contain links in it and paste it somewhere else I get it pasted in plain text. This is annoying because I have to go and copy the link, then go and insert the link into the text again. Another annoying this is that when it turns it into plain text the font size goes back to 14pt or whatever the default is and I sometimes use different sizes, it also moves everything so that is is to the left while I sometimes center the text as well.
I also copy/paste tables with pairings in them a lot as well and when I do the table doesn't copy, only the words in the table, the result is I have to remake the WHOLE ENTIRE table if I want it somewhere else. Let's say I want to make a blog post on the event and I need to get the pairings from the Club, to the blog post. I don't want to have to remake everything.

My understanding is that how copy/paste works for basic accounts has changed, so rich text/HTML elements are stripped.

I just tried copying some random stuff into a google doc and it worked fine... links all went through.

WHAT!!!?!?!?!?????
This is so not fair! How am I supposed to do anything anymore? I will not be able to make my blog posts anymore!
If this keeps up I will probably quit with my club wars. I can't handle that

Then that's just an HTML thing I suppose
It is a chess.com thing... Martin_Stahl just said

I mean chess.com can't do anything about it, unless you want them to completely reprogram the website.

No, it's the way chess.com is programmed I believe. So it's not just chess.com. Other websites that are programmed the same way act the same.

What did they do to make so I can't copy/paste anymore? And why did they do it?

I may be misunderstanding this, but who knows. Perhaps they (let's say) wanted to add a new feature to the forums, but found some program allowing this was in their way.
