As far as I know you are not allowed to have two accounts. Reach out to chess.com stuff and they can help you.

I can verify I am encountering the same issue. I have an Apple ID account which is linked to my paid chess.com. I am still able to use the iOS apps, but I can no longer log into the web page site of chess.com with Apple ID. This started yesterday. Still an issue today.

Per some of the above comments. I've had this free account and you can see my history I've only used it for puzzles. Once I decided to support chess.com, I created an account under Apple ID for better security and have been playing honestly under that account. I don't care for the account I'm currently on, but it has been helpful for myself and the OP to report the issue on forum. Thanks.

Login to the app on your phone and get your apple id email (it'll be something like 123455dsss@privaterelay.appleid.com), and then from your browser click "forgot password" and enter your apple id email address.
You'll receive an email with a link to reset your password. Enter a password and then login using your apple id email, and your new password.
It doesn't really fix the root cause of the issue, but you'll be able to login from your browser now.

This problem appeared yesterday. I have an account with gold sub and always logged in via Apple id. For two days chess.com writes that there is a problem and I can't log in. My acc is not banned. What is the problem?
