Crazyhouse popularity?

Heya, I notice that when trying to play crazyhouse games, they system takes ages to find an opponent. Then when trying to play another game after, one ends up with the same opponent again. On the other hand, it's usually pretty quick to start bughouse games which have three other people in. Seems a bit odd to me that among the x hundreds of thousands or millions of people on the site at any one time, that only a tiny handful are trying to play crazyhouse. Seems like a fun variant to me at least. Same for 960, can rarely find an opponent.

its the sad part aout the site, people dont play it even though its realy fun, i dont even play it anymore because i know i cant find an opponent so i only play in tournaments where i can find people

Right, that's what I meant with the bughouse reference. Seems curious that so many more people want to play 4-player than 2-player. Still sometimes hard to get the 4-player games working though. One game in four aborts due to people not moving. I can only assume they're doing something else while waiting for the system to find people.
