critical moments

hi there all...I always seem to miss critical moments in my otb games against stronger and sometimes weaker players in otb...because i have absolutely no idea how to identify it...i have no idea what it is...could you guys please enlighten me on what they are and how to identify them☺

If you don't want to pay chess.com membership, Bartholomew also has a good 9-part series on "Chess Cognition" on YouTube where each episode is an analyzed game - and you can get the pgn files on his YouTube page (or a link to them) as well.
