Custom Javascript Chess Games

Hello

I am thinking to write my own chess-based game (just for fun) and I am looking for some Javascript libraries. I have found chess.js and chessboard.js which both look promising (and according to the github page, chess.js is used on this site).

Has anyone written their own online chess games? Be interested to see what you've come up with!
