Would you suggest I also purchase (now what what it...) Yusupov's nine book chess series to cover any and all bland points that My System neglects?
One way that has worked for me in order to finish chess books I buy is to absolutely forbid the purchase of more chess books until I am done with the current ones. Example: I am working on two chess books now thus I absolutely forbid myself buying another book until I am done with one of the two books I am working on. This helps me to force my motivation when chess books ''occassionally'' get too dry/hard. Most everyone says My System is a good book and that is why you bought it thus you must stick to it. (What happened with lalala?). Cheers
Aha, this was what I was looking for - a true overview of the content, not just a bunch of people blathering on about how great the book is blah blah blah. As a University student, and a Psychology student at that, I am used to reading difficult and sometimes downright dry material that was surely written as a proverbial lullaby to get an insomniac to sleep.
I think I will just have to go cover to cover in an attempt to even partially understand the scattered thoughts of a great man. Thanks everybody ^_^
