Just saw an article saying the Chess.com server was hacked and the actor posted user info on a site known for that type of info. Is anyone in charge planning on informing the large number of users whom I'm certain are completely unaware that their info has been compromised and published?

No chess.com server was hacked, the bad actor in question simply used the Find My Friends feature and scraped the website so that they could associate emails with usernames and other publicly available information. The only bad part about this is that someone who reuses a ton of passwords and has had them been revealed by hackers on other websites in the past could be in trouble, but that's only a part of the population, and only 800K people's information was found in the report...
