Deleting a sent message.
I'll tell my friend that, he is new on chess.com and does not understand how to use the forums or messages.

Is it possible that when you send a message by mistake, you are able to delete it so that the person it was sent to can no longer see it as well? If so, how can it be done? I am asking this for one of my friends who is new on chess.com and has no idea on how to use the forums or messages.
You can delete it from your inbox, but the recipient will still get it.
So there is no way, even if it gets sent, that even if the person it was sent to read the message, you cannot delete the message from both inboxes. Thanks for telling me that.

the person u sent it to will still get it like martin said I've hit the x before n the person still got it

If it it was in your inbox, disappeared, and you didn't delete it, then the member is either muted or had their account closed. Once sent, only you can delete a message in your inbox.
