Well played! Yes 5.e5 is not the standard move. I wouldn't call it a big mistake though.
Destroying the Sicilian Defense in 10 moves
After 6. Nf5 computer recommends 6. ... Bxf5 7. exf5 d5 and the position is equal. So much of the lovely spot for accurate attack.

Not really, but it is usually played after 2...Nc6 in the Sveshnikov and Kalishnakov. ...a6 usually follows ...e5 and then the knight is kicked to a3 from b5.

Obviously, my attack isn't accurate enough to beat a 3500 Elo computer. But it would work against many human players

You're right. I mean the move a6, not h6.

Yes Bxf5 is the obvious move. I doubt that 6Nf5 was whites best move, black looks fine after Nf5
Blacks 5...e5 also looks fine, and after Ndb5 then 6...a6 likely just transposes back to a mainline Pelican or whatever it called in the 21st century

Its offensive dude. Dont play with Bobby Fischer like that. Use someone else. Frank Marshall for example, or Carlsen. But no Soviets nor Fischer please.
Hello,
I just played a wonderful game against a 1500s player, or may I say, a wonderful opening?
My opponent didn't make it to the middle game - he was defeated after 9 or 10 moves.
That was probably one of my sharpest attacks ever against a Sicilian defense.
Have a look:
I believe that 5.e5 was a big mistake. My opponent should have played 5.h6 at this point and then 6.e5. The move e5 let me settle my knight on a lovely square, from which it cannot be removed, and to start a strong and accurate attack.
What do you think about my moves? Would you consider other moves instead?
I hope you liked my game!
