DGT Pegasus for child and beginner

Hi

I have a 11 yers old chid who is interested by playing chess. I don't wich electronic games, i have to buy : either DGT Centaur ou DGT Pegasus. 

I'd like to know if with the DGT Pegasus he will able to choose a beginner player ?

We are on IOS, but i read DGT Chess or Chess app were compatible

Any advice to help ?

DGT Pegasus is an electronic game that provides a physical chess board and pieces for play.  Some people prefer playing with a physical chess board and pieces.

You play it by connecting it using your phone to chess.com or one of the other online gaming platforms. You have to move the pieces. It slows down the game.

/ Their ad says it works with a chess.com app which is not compatible (yet) with iOS.

Finally i decid to buy the centaur models.. I read a lot of messages of people disappointed with bad connection... 

I'll buy it later when all issues will be fixed.

Unfortunately, as usual in 2021, end user are beta testers...
