A long time ago, in a galaxy far away, Chess.com had a Christmas tradition. Erik would hide diamonds all over the site. If you found them, you could cash them in at Barnes & Noble. Well a group of cheaters got together and figured out a way to BEAT Erik at his own game.surprise.png  They STOLE the diamonds BEFORE they we're hidden. They ripped off B & N for millions of dollars$$.  It became known as the great Chess.com caper. I'm surprise you didn't here about it. It was in all the papers, Interpol, Scotland Yard, they we're all in on it. Gil Grissom of C.S.I. fame was the one who eventually cracked the case. That's why he left television. The case almost killed him. Turns out the culprits had quite a few things in common. They all had red hair. They we're all left handed. Cheaters, liars, Gypsyies Tramps and Thieves. They we're all gay. They all had tattoes. They we're all members of the Communist Party. I remember, I was there. It was a Thurs, it was raining. They all got caught entering Mordor at the same time. Erik CURSED them for ages and every time you mention a diamond members name, Erik flinches.  And that's why NOT one of them can ever enter a Barnes & Noble again.
