Do chess.com bots actually play their rating?

I have felt that the chess.com bots are significantly weaker than before. I made Stockfish play a game against Maximum (3200), and Stockfish beat Maximum in 29 moves. Also, I notice GothamChess, when he was speedrunning the intermediate bots, David lost in seven moves, despite being 1400 Elo. I wonder, do the bots actually play their rating, or are the ratings significantly inflated?
