Do you prefer open or closed positions?

Please give a reason(s) why.

I in all honesty prefer open positions because nothing excites me more then a piece sacrifice to go for a (klunky or non klunky) checkmate attack!

I prefer closed position. 

Because, when I play against stronger players than me, they have no chance to defeat me and it will be draw.

But against players with same level as me I prefer semi-open positions because I have chance to make it closed or open position.

And Finnaly, against weaker players I prefer open positions because I have easy chances to attack!(After all, they are weak!)

So, in all I like all 3.

So, for me, it basically depends on the player OR position.

Absolutely open. Reasons ? - 

1. It gives me better chance to activate my pieces and attack. 

2. I can use my pieces to defend too 

3. I can make nice pawn structures 

4. Last but not least good pawn structures, good attack and u win
