Does anyone actually use the flip board option?

And I don't just mean on Live Chess, I mean anywhere on this site.

I personally never use it - I prefer to look at the game from my point of view. I just don't see the point of it to be honest.

It would help if they offered a sideways view. Kibitzers always see things much better than the actual players.

yes, I do to see the game from my opponent's point of view.

Same for me, sometimes

Yes, love, love, love it.  It teaches objectivity.  I sometimes play entire games laughing my head off thinking of what he's got to be thinking.  It introduces you to the logic of the irrational and yes a sideways view is epic.

Yes, I do. It helps give me my opponents perspective on the game.

I used to play on another chess website, where the interface was much more easier to flip the board, and I used it a lot. It was nice to give me some incites into the opponents' threats and was a good waste of time when I played longer controls. Now on chess.com, I find it takes too long to flip the board... at least it's laggy for me.
