Well I play for my club (Newton Abbot CC) quite little in proper matches in a tournament against other clubs, but if you mean going there, i go there every week, might miss a few, just play there for fun.

rooperi

Yeah, dont go regularly anymore, though, Moved too far away. But now and again I still play in the league if a regular player cant make it.

boneymalloney

Yep and I'm not sure this Turn Based Chess has done me any good OTB, I'll soon find out though - the local league starts in October....

I know he was banned from chess.com for cheating, set up another account and was again kicked off soon after..

philtheforce

didn't realise he was banned from here for cheating .... what did he do to cheat?

They do not like cheating talk in the regular forums.  The closest club to me is a 3 hour drive.  I have been toying with the idea of forming one here.

I live in the 3rd largest city in Indiana and no Chess club?  Crazy.  But I will have to save my shekels before I can begin to think about it.

I am a member of the USCF and the ICCF.  I play in Correspondence tournaments when I can.  They are a lot cheaper.  But still, I would like to play OTB games.
