No. But don’t do it too often because chess.com will put you in the bad sport pool of players. This is to keep people from constantly aborting as one color because they are better with the other.

Indeed I was aborting because they was 750 and I just 625.
I was thinking it was possible look for players lower than me, in points!

As I can see I just can abort the game 3 times.

The amount of points you gain or lose depends on how strong your opponent is. If you lose to someone 100 points higher, you lose a little. If they are 100 lower you lose a lot. If you lose to someone 500 higher, your rating may not even change. The opposite happens with winning. You gain more by beating players higher than you. So it doesn’t matter what the rating of the player is because it is balanced.

What I do is set up to find a player that is above or below 50 within my rating, basically a player at my level.
Don’t abort due to someone having a higher rating. Chess.com will put you against tougher opponents so you can improve. By only play weaker opponents, you are hurting yourself. Also aborting is not meant to be used for that
