draughts and chess.

draughts is a board game similar in some aspects like chess however it's not as good but still fun (apparently draughts has been solved which puts me off it). i played and won a game of draughts today and the reason i won reminded me of a chess tactic. the zugzwang. where a play has no good moves but can still move. i played the person again and the game was again decided by a zugzwang.

does this prove that draughts is tactically more limited than chess or does draughts have it's own tactics.

for anyone who knows how to play draughts well voice your opinion about draughts.
