Draw by Repetition (aka Threefold Repetition) should be reworked
No, I believe the system works fine as is. It should be the player's responsibility to keep track of repetition of position............just like it is the responsibility of the players to know if they play a certain move, it will cause Stalemate or checkmate or win substantial material. It is not uncommon for players that are winning, but short of time to repeat the position a few times to gain time on the clock. They have no intention of repeating 3 times for a Draw.

In a real game over the board there is nobody warning you either.
It's part of the game. Just because you can't handle it doesn't mean the computer is "abusing", and just like in otb chess, it's you who has to understand and use this feature as you want. Anyway, why would you even repeat moves if you don't want to draw?

Repeating twice is often useful to gain time on the clock.
I wish the server would warn me when I'm about to hang a piece.
