draw by timeout vs insufficient material

In my case, the opponent ran out of time, but I had plenty of material and closing in on checkmate. It's ok. I'm over it.

Your opponent ran out of time and you had insufficient material to mate by the site's insufficient material rule. The site only looks at the material of the player with time on the clock. Since you had only a bishop, it was a draw.
