Any tips on how to stop blundering when you're on hols and the clocks counting down?

Ha ha. I've played all my "buy myself 8hrs sleep" moves now. ill see how dumb they all look tomorrow.

urk
I do it a lot and then get frustrated at losing. Pretty dumb, isn't it?
MrFahrenKnight

part of the reason i started playing games over 3 days was to cut down the odds of being forced to move whilst out drinking or otherwise occupied. but when you're on hols around a pool, you can barely see the screen and ya tanked up? its not good for your game. ha ha

MrFahrenKnight

I agree, mostly, drop the word counselling. :)

I went to happy hour during the week and played a few moves while drinking at the bar during  a couple games.  Damn I made some stupid moves.  The good thing about playing chess drunk is when you do something dumb, you can blame it on the drink.  When I am sober, I can't blame my blunders on booze.

problem is, when you're drinking you think your moves are genius. and then there's the next day. :(

Yes, I was even bragging to the guy sitting next to me how I just took an advantage.  Then I left a rook hanging.
