"I don't believe in psychology, I believe in good moves" - Fischer
I am extremly find hard to judge my opponents pattern/style in E-mail chess, One time they are strong in the area, are not in same condition next time, Even for my case also. It is vastly fluctuating and the variation of style and pattern is unpredictable. This could be bacause of Our official work stress, personal life influences Etc Etc.
My conclusion is Playing on the board ( Tournaments ) is little bit predicatable and easy rather playing Email chess, which is tougher than Real time play ( boards with chess pieces)
Your comments & suggestions please!!
it's hard to tell the way one feel's
accourding to me chess ismy time pass. i play chess to relax all the job stress, keep me engaged so that i dont feel life boring. your personal life should not affect your game & vice versa.
email chess:
play when ever you feel to play, board settings can be changed so that you don't get bored of the board & pieces, no fear of loss, exposure to different styles of play, i find email chess suits me better.
tournment:
face to face play, apperance of challenger, audiance, people commenting on moves, more over in indian clubs you finds chess is a team game rather than indiviual talents.
this is my view-
What is email chess?
He means correspondence/online/daily chess....whatever you want to call it.
I was 6. I should of been enrolled in a chess school at that time but my parents are morons and have left me with an uphill struggle to get a title.
LOL
Yes......you are right to blame your parents. they should of known you wanted to be a chess genius when you were six.
It's always a good plan of action to blame someone else when we don't get what we want in life.....that way we don't have to take responsibility or accountability ourselves when things don't work out.
It's a good feeling Knowing that all the misfortune that happens in our life is someone else's fault.

I understand trust me. I always tell my mother that if she was just a good parent and bought me a piano when I was 3 that I could have been the next Mozart.

I've already mentioned on here that one year I did actually specifically ask for a chess set for Christmas and got a bike instead. I don't know how I could have made it any clearer to them.
You could have made one..........did you ever watch blue peter....
2Q1C, I am serious......just trying to steer you within the realms of reality!
