Early Shirov Game (Dragon)

I was studying this game because I've decided to model my play (somewhat) after Shirov as studying a chess hero is usually a good idea.

Edit: Added some variations from my notes I forgot in the 14.Bxc4 lines.

Interesting game.  I have to ask a "newb" question though.  Is there really a refutation of the dragon?  I attempt to play the dragon, and if it's refuted, I should probably stop.  Not because it's costing me games, I blunder, therefor I lose.  Just because it wouldn't be the right thing to do.  Any further info?  Thanks.
