I think there should be a chess variant 10 files by 12 rows. There's a new piece ,the elephant that moves 1 square up ,down,left, or right. The pieces are set up from left to right ...,rook knight,elephant,bishop,queen,king,bishop,elephant,knight,rook No en passant, no castling. The pawns can move up to 4 squares the first move, the knights move a longer jump forward ,3 squares up and 1 over, instead of 2 up. I can't think of a name,but maybe Elephant chess. Tell me if you think this will work. What is a good name for this variant?
