Engine tournament

Anyone here knows a software with different engines where I can play against them in a tournament? I want to improve in tournament play and playing against different styles. If it's free then it's better.

I've never played against multiple engines in a tournament, but I think you can do that with the Chessmaster personalities.

For free programs, I think Arena will also let you do that. But you'd have to find and install a number of engines that can play down to your level.

Okay thanks!

You can organize engine tnmts using Fritz 12 but it aint free. It is worth considering purchasing if this is real important to you, you have the dough and the time to actually spend on using Fritz. They're up to F13 now BTW. And of course Fritz has many other uses and features, although I'd still recommend trying freeware first such as Arena and Winboard, which can then be loaded with free chess engines such as Houdini, Stockfish, Firebird, Komodo etc. The engines are from 1-2 generations ago but you don't need the latest and greatest ones, trust me; neither do I or about 99% of the other members here.

I do own F12 BTW and I still recommend checking out the freeware first, I didn't because I didn't know about the freeware when I bought F12 although I certainly can't say it aint worth the money or I haven't gotten my moneys worth out of it.

Raubfisch engine ( default type and changed value type ) from year 2022. versus newer chess engine engine tournament from opening Deep blue versus Kasparov

Do is Stockfish 17 a weak engine for the Caro-Kann opening ?
