Hey! Have I exercised my dictatorial powers here? No!
Not yet. Pretty sure you're waiting for @Snookslayer to teach you how to post PGNs before going all out dictator mode.

That Bogoljubow Alekhine game was nuts!
Yeah, great game. I'm going to post it as soon as my technical advisers teach me how the hell to do it.
Here you go
Here you go
Very good. But I still want to know how to do it (you know, give a man a fish, etc.). I've downloaded the game and have it on Notepad now. Snook said to then select "Insert chess game or diagram" but I don't see that option anywhere here. Where is it?

Um,ok lets try:
1. When you reply something to someone, see various small cartoons/icons over it? One of them is a tiny chess board. Do you see it? Don't move till you see it.
2. Click on the tiny chess board cartoon/icon. Don't click till you see it.
3. A new page opens with a chess board. On right side are 3 options. 3rd option is "Load PGN". Do you see it? Don't click till you see it.
4. Paste the PGN that you copied earlier via the notepad. Right click to add annotations if you like. Then click 'insert' in right below of screen. Don't click till you see it.
5. The PGN is loaded. Add your usual non-witty rants if you want. Click 'Post'.
6. See it i.e. your post with the PGN.
Hope this helps
I think some mobiles don't have the insert diagram option on their browsers. This could be why you don't see it?
Success! Thanks, Simon. Of course you've already posted it but that game's worth another look. By the way, folks, post your favorite games! There are a lot of great ones to share.
This move is one of the most stunning moves I've ever seen.
Topalov-Shivov, Linares (1988).
I've seen that. Incredible move!
@FBloggs I would have never in my life considered such a move even with years of training.
There is a video of Shirov where he analyzes his own endgame.
If I remember correctly he was thinking about the sac before he moved his king to e6. He was thinking about a lot of lines until he came up with the bishop sac. It was quite insightful to hear what he thought himself about the game.
Many people remember Shirov as a fierce attacker which requires good calculation skills. But also endgames require a lot of calculation. That's why he played quite a few interesting and instructive endgames.
It's one thing to sacrifice a piece but quite another to sacrifice one's only piece. That's the kind of move you see and wonder how he even thought of it.
Hey! Have I exercised my dictatorial powers here? No! Now we know why bob's thread failed. Whenever some mate disagreed with Bob the Terrible, he cast them out.
