First time in chess history!

Today Magnus Carlsen played the whole of Norway.

The format was a three hour TV show where viewers played against Carlsen via mobile apps and browsers by voting on moves. The most voted move was played out on the board by Norway's president of parliament.

The people lost, but Carlsen noted that there were no huge mistakes and every move belonged on the chess board. He also commented that his opening was "peculiar and aggressive". He played as black with a modern defense.

I think it's been great, and it's cool to see that chess is gaining ground in society.

Reminds me a bit of Kasparov vs. the world.  Still, it is quite neat that Carlsen's doing that.

I had no idea Kasparov did that actually, my bad. So not a first time in chess, but an important event I'd love to see more of!

Is there a copy of the game?

Edit: I googled it, but all that comes up is a match in May 2014, which ended in a draw it looks like.

They're being real slow with getting the move list out, I'll post it when I get it!
