What's the difference among a fish, a patzer, and a woodpusher?
Personally, there's no hate: I like them all. The only irritating thing is when they think they know it all, but at least even those misguided people are all for chess and we should forgive them if their enthusiasm exceeds reality a little.
Fish, patzer, woodpusher is chess equivalent of rock, paper, scissors. Fish beats patzer, patzer beats woodpusher, woodpusher beats fish.

LOL, you didn't "destroy" a NM....you didn't even beat him, you won on time in a game that looked pretty even after only 14 moves. I imagine he was away from the computer for a few days and you won by default.

He wasn't taking you seriously. He played 1.f3 and played a sort of hippo set up against you. I doubt any NM doing his best would do that.
Plus you won because he timed out. While your position was better when he timed out - it wasn't won.
That's debatable - but as I said: He wasn't taking you seriously. He was less than 1500 rated in correspondence chess - he likely plays it only for fun.

He wasn't playing you in a FIDE game. It might be a better indication of his serious over the board strength, but a for fun online game where you can get away with things like 1.f3 without risk of your rating?
