And i have no problems playing 2/1 games.
Fix The Connection Issues
It's always chess.coms fault lol.
This time it is. And the developers of chess.com needs to fix it.

In fact, I wonder if the Indian spammers ARE Chess.com's team of developers.

You should try some of the other connection settings that Chess.com has made available in the last 6 months or so, since your current ones clearly aren't working for you: https://www.chess.com/blog/News/how-to-adjust-your-live-chess-connection
For a general overview of how connections work, see https://support.chess.com/customer/en/portal/articles/1444918-my-internet-connection-is-fine---why-am-i-getting-disconnects-
The site needs to gets its act together. I am a paying member and suddenly mid game today I got out, even though my net is fine and working and I just couldn't log back into the game. I tried to refresh the live game page and I get some nonsense about how - "its taking longer than usual to connect". Utter nonsense.
To invest so much effort into a game that too a 30 min one to get a winning position, only for this site to let you down. Nonsense. Utter tosh.
I come here to ask about this. I'm currently playing a game where I'm winning, now both the times have stopped and they are flashing. What do I do?
Same. Probably some server crashed.

My game crashed too. I was sure I was going to be coming here raving about the disconnect. Fortunately for me, on the reboot, the servers seem to have decided that my opponent was the one who disconnected.
It is the first time in a long time one of my games has been brought down by the server.
I remember how often it used to happen at other sites.

The worst of all is this site cost me a totally won game.

I fail to understand what kind of incompetent people are responsible for the connections and how they're still able to keep their jobs.
2+ million games per day, hosting of forums, videos, shows, tactics, lessons, etc. Millions of connections from all over the world, multiple paths from clients to the site servers that go through a lot of different routers, all different types of clients with various plugins/streaming software/multitudinous processes, etc.
Software has issues sometimes and they can't guarantee that issues won't happen. They can't control anything but their client code and their hosting and server code base. There are so many things out of the site's control and the vast majority of the time, things work great.

From what I understand the third-party CDN (content delivery network) the site uses had some kind of SSL problem. Don't know the specifics but saw it too.

That is correct. Yesterday we had an internal kernel crash (or something like that), which took several minutes to recover. Then today, there was a major outage across the internet. Several services were down (including Github, etc). Never forget - these are actual computers sitting in a cage somewhere connected by thousands of miles of tiny, thin wires. Crazy!

I'm having connection issues while playing chess on this website. I play Overwatch which is a downloaded game which requires one of the best updated computer specs today to play, and which requires a good internet connection. When I'm playing Overwatch, I never have any connection issues while playing. So, if I'm not having any connection issues in a game that requires one of the best computer specs today, but I'm having a connection issues in a browser game which can play on a horrible computer, my connection issue in that browser game must not be a problem of mine. Rather, it's highly likely to be a problem with the browser game itself.
So, what I'm trying to say is that there is a problem with the chess.com servers, and it needs to be fixed. I want to make the developers of chess.com aware of this, because I don't want to play chess on a laggy server.
