all fortnite does is destroy your brain cells, IQ, and GPA. chess can help you, because it exercises your mind, and you can actually get a scholarship to play chess. being a gamer can’t help you, nor can get you a scholarship.

If it's a serious question, then in 100 years time everyone will be playing Fortnite-like computer games, and chess will have gone the way of games like bagatelle or billiards. We have already got to the stage where the best computer gamers can play in front of thousands (in person or online) and win big money and I don't see that that will change. Personally I have no problem with that.
