I only know Fritz 11.

fritz
I have Deep Fritz 13, and I must say it is poorly interfaced and not particularly helpful as far as applying yourself as a human being with the game of chess. The chess program is good as far as its Cloud feature, so if you want to analyze your games than at the very least you know that it proficient in power to let you know which moves are best. But it's primarilly done in basic "lines" format that is rather dull for some people and does not cover the "human aspect" of learning the game.
If you can, return both and opt for one of the Chessmaster series. The tutorials are amazing and have Josh Waitzkin covering his games and tutorials spoken over a chess board from other Grandmasters like Larry Evans. Very useful test format tutorials as well.

well m=my rating is higher than the site so please dont critisize that... and it is not hazardous to review your games so dont say that either thats what im using it for i just wanted to know how i can do this with the program ty

Don't need no engines/software until achieve 1500+ from own ability/study.
Using them more likely to hamper your chess game!

With your rating Fritz is totally useless. Chess engines can be hazardous to your chess development!!
Not if he adjusts the playing strength.

1450 -1500 is average OTB rating.
Chess.com av rating is distorted/deflated by the amount of cheating on the site and the numbers of hopeless players who persist either because they like other things about the site or are using the available resources here to try to learn and improve.
Dabbling around with engines will only confuse. Perhaps worse still tempt a few to succumb to using them in ongoing games. (Adding to the tally of banned/shamed).

I dont agree with you guys (but maybe you will say that it is because my rating is too low ). Using a program like Arena can be very helpful.
Study a move from your game that you are not happy with and write down the candidate moves. Decide on one of them and press the analyse button.
I think it gives you good training, but of course you cannot give in to the temptation to just run the engine to get the "result".
That will lead to lazyness.
in an attempt to overcome my learning block, i recently got fritz both 11 and 13. i am very confused as to how to use these programs to analyze my games so if you could tell me how that would be great... also what else can i use fritz for to get better besides analyzing and playing the computer
