Game Setting Ignored

Been playing a while here and have my setting for a new game on 1300 for lowest player yet I constantly get 1200 players jumping on. I abort the game wanting a better rated player and the system warns me not to abort. The filter does NOT work !

Don't worry, the 1200 players will kick your ass too.

You're probably adjusting the wrong settings.  One adjusts the seeks that you see on the graph and the other sets the parameters for your games.  See if this helps:

...or you can just get over yourself and play them. I wonder how many of the 1200s would beat you?

Please look at the link I sent you again.  Right under the "seek graph options" is the following line: "These filters affect the seeks you see in the graph, not the seeks you create".

Oh, this is the thread in which you were asking for help. Post #2 and #4 make no sense. I wouldn't quit Chess.com because of those two comments;)

They make plenty of sense. They just don't offer technical support.  A non-sensical post would be something like:

"Eat the orange and forget the long sad day of your sister's journey."

Or

"Geed plebnocha fring on sala...go go whee!"

This makes perfect sense...
