According to the view page (https://www.chess.com/news/view/kasparov-teaches-chess-online-masterclass-sponsors-speed-chess-7966),"The class will test players with a US rating of 1300-1700 and include more advanced concepts and examples that will benefit 1800+ rated players."
I haven't joined it because I haven't yet digested the books I bought to cover most of the same things: Silmans How to Reassess Your Chess, Seirawans Winning Chess Tactics and Winning Chess Strategies, Fred Wilson's Simple Attacking Plans, etc.
But $90 for 20+ videos is not unreasonable and, if a video format fits your learning style, it sounds like a good way to go. I may be interested later, though I don't know of Kasparov's reputation as a teacher.
I have joined this Master Class hoping to improve game.
Has anybody else joined?
