How can you tell if an opponent is cheating? (no names on this thread)

You won a game with over 91% accuracy.  I have no idea how accuracy is rated but I have been beaten by players with 98% accuracy that have a 1000 rating and those players have done that well against other players as well.  Cheating is just one of the hazards of playing online games against other people.

If you play with a 50% accuracy and apply no pressure on your opponent it gets very easy to play the KID accurately and win a fairly comfortable game as a 1600 rated player.

Hi! I strongly advise you not to think wheather your opponent is cheating or not. You will never know and it is not your concern! It ist the work, the chess.com stuff has to do and is doing.

Have a look here: https://www.chess.com/article/view/online-chess-cheating

The accuracy level is by no means a good indicator for cheating and there are lot´s of other indicators we normal mortals don´t know. If you ever have a real strong idea that someone is cheating, report it and forget it.

And, by no means, accuse anybody by yourself of cheating, that bring´s only yourself in trouble.

I once was accused of cheating from somebody (not from chess.com!) and i reported him immediately.

Meh. If a 1000 rated player is hitting 99+ multiple games in a row, he or she is either cheating or a GM. Hell, even GMs don’t regularly hit 99 on streams that I watch. They are usually 90-95.
