lol u have a rating of 1600's
low rating often gives more trouble in blizt

I've noticed a similar thing in slower time controls and even OTB. With a higher rated opponent, the moves are almost predictable, at least to some extent. One can get a feel for the logic, and often see the plan.
With lower rated players, there often is no plan. They tend to react to short term threats/goals. If they see an undefended piece, they'll attack it. If they see an attack, they'll push a pawn to block. Never mind that the move fatally hurts their position, it works for the moment. This has a tendency to shift the strong and weak points, and disrupt a methodical attack. A target is replaced with a weaker target -- somewhere else -- and it takes time to readjust.
I played a game OTB against a much weaker player a number of years ago (ran across the score and refreshed my memory). By move 10 he was hopelessly lost, but it took about 45 moves to finish him off. In a slow time control, this is no problem. I can see that this could be a problem in blitz. (Perhaps another reason I don't play blitz.)

As a proponent of a so-called "weird opening" (1e4 f6) allow me to point out that the so-called "modern" openings (Reti, Pirc, Alekhine's) were also "weird" openings in their times. The authors of these openings explored them in speed games, exhibition games, and postal games for years before introducing them in tournament play. The strategical idea is to invite an opponent to expand, the gamble being whether you can survive his attack before launching a counterattack while the opponent's pieces are out of place for defense. The 10 minute chess.com time control is fine for me, and chess.com retains the game score for later analysis. I used to play 5 minute chess, but now that I'm in my 70's, I don't think as fast, nor am I as strong, as when I was younger; plus, I have the distraction of being a full-time parent to my 11-year-old, who lives with me and attends school nearby. Mommy is an ex-wife. My weird opening also levels the playing field against you young "booked-up" opponents and often leads to very interesting games! Best regards!

Very often 1500s will give me more trouble than 1700s on chess.com 10min blitz games.
While the 1700 is looking for tactics and strategical elements the 1500 only scans for tactics and plays very fast, often weird opennings that they play over and over (eg the hippo)... Always I build up a totally winning position, which I would win every time in classical, but (in the blitz games) by then I have 1/2 the time they have and this is precisely when they start lashing out with wild sacrafices and very aggressive play (with nothing to lose)... which makes me burn more time.. by the time the smokes cleared Im still 90% of the time winning but in time trouble or I finally make a blunder.
Im not criticising these players, its fair play, its just an interesting phenomenon in blitz.
dont play blizt..
