I keep trying to play blitz (3/2) with players of at least my rating (1700+) and I keep getting paired with people 200-300 points lower. How in the world is anyone suppose to improve their rating when I can't get a pairing with someone of at least the same rating?? This is seriously aggravating.
I tried setting challenges to the lowest setting -25 and it doesn't work. Are there so few active players on this site that someone over 1700+ can't get pairing with players of similar or higher ratings?? What's the deal chess.com??
I've only been on this site about three weeks and so far I only encounter problem after problem. Why does this site have to be so inefficient?? Why do people pay to play here when other sites are free and 100% more efficient than chess.com will ever be?!?!
I dunno, maybe because most people aren't at 1700
Thanks for the complement, but it seems odd to me that there aren't enough intermediate players on the site at any given moment. Maybe chesscom is isolating non-paid members. This is just another reason why I detest this site. At this rate I'll probably quit the site soon and only keep the account to follow certain title players. Otherwise, I find the site utterly useless.
Thanks for the reply and good luck with your chess!
