This weekend I will be playing in a simul against GM Sam Shankland. My real uscf rating is around 1700 and I am an extremely aggressive chess player. I have played more games sacrificing pieces than not and was wondering if being so aggressive is a wise style against a renowned GM? I have ony been playing chess for 6 months roughly so I am also not very good positional player.
Hey fellow Chess players,
This weekend I will be playing in a simul against GM Sam Shankland. My real uscf rating is around 1700 and I am an extremely aggressive chess player. I have played more games sacrificing pieces than not and was wondering if being so aggressive is a wise style against a renowned GM? I have ony been playing chess for 6 months roughly so I am also not very good positional player.
Thanks
P.S does the GM have a time limit at each board?
