Yeah but I'm not sure why 5.h4 is an ok move here. I'm not sure what it does.

The translation isn't perfect...
Black's moves 2...Nf6 and 5...O-O were given question marks but the move 5.h4 is simply passed over. How is this a playable move? If Black played 5...d5 instead how would the move h4 pawn help White's position?
