This opening can be really confusing 😅... But, here are your answers.
1. First off, this opening is called the Bongcloud Opening / Bongcloud Attack because it's thought to originate from Chess.com user "Lenny_Bongcloud" who used the opening with little success. Perhaps another reason is because in reference to a "bong" which is a device to smoke cannabis, is implying that someone would be intoxicated to think that the opening is an actual strategy.
2. e2 worked because it was a legal move and none of the pieces were not blocking it. However, it did prevent me from castling.
I hope this did help and if you have any more questions, feel free to ask. 👍

none of the pieces were not blocking it.
Doesn't that basically mean the pieces were blocking it?
I'm not here to be correcting everyone's grammar, but don't use double negatives...
