Has anyone else who has done neurofeedback for ADHD seen an increase in chess rating?

How expensive is neurofeedback? I'm sorry if this is annoying. When I was a lot younger (I'm 20) I won some chess tournament and beat a couple 1700 players but I recently started back up and I suck :/
I swear I used to be able to calculate moves ahead and not get as lost as I do now (I was on meds and now I'm not and although I just got a prescription again I wanna try something else)

I am unfamiliar with neurofeedback. Will research it. Am ADHD myself, diagnosed at 14, am 39 currently. Take 30mg extended release dexamphetamine (meds compounded with gelatine for extended release). Medication is awesome but I can’t help but feel somewhat anxious and/or flat when the stuff wears off. Will be interesting researching this topic.

I have ADHD, never tried neurofeedback (don't really know what it is) but for sure my medication (Methylphenidate) helps me play better chess.  If I forget to take it one day, I  loose focus and blunder all the time. Would it be considered as doping if I was playing in a tournament?

Neurogenesis is a real thing.

Follow up!
After posting this, I decided to do a bit of an experiment on myself. I did a few more neurofeedback sessions and then played some rapid games on here. My rapid rating increased 280  points! That's the only thing I did different. This is freaking amazing!

Oh, great. Now even non-ADHD chess players will be getting neurofeedback treatments...

ADHD medication is considered doping for tournaments. On the other hand, only the top players are ever tested. In the United States the USCF actually doesn’t allow any kind of testing. So unless you’re at a top FIDE tournament, it’s just not an issue.

No, but double dosing your regular dose would be.
