And he is cheeky enough to say it was the most boring game he ever played! Of course, -37 and he wouldn't resign.

What is your point? Its a game between 2 beginners, and your opponent did what any low rated player should do. You keep playing on hoping for stalemate.
What a boring and dull game.
Maybe you should play the Caro-Kann to be more fun and exciting.
Filled with richness and positional struggle. Pure fire on the board!
Nothing like this boring and lifeless position you have on your board.

So he should of resigned.
What was your excuse for playing pacman instead of checkmating him ?
A quick checkmate was not my priority. I wanted to teach him a lesson for trying the scholar's mate on me. I took all his pieces one by one.

Like the others said, I am only a beginner. A beginner who learned how to play chess when he was 7 years old, but until a few months ago had only the chance to play against computers (and that is truly boring)
Playing against strong computers is the only real joy a person can have in chess.
It demonstrates richness and the most exciting games of all.

I agree with you on playing computers. It doesnt nothing for me. I find absolutely nothing interesting about it. Playing someone face to face at a tournament, where it is 2 people trying to best the other is what i enjoy.
