Help; chat disabled for bad language

I am playing a game with my friend and we often throw in the expletive every now and again. My chat was disabled for use of bad language. I did get a second warning but I didn’t know what would happen if I continued. Basically I was talking to a friend irl, but we had not made friends on chess. We are friends now, however, it still won’t let us chat. And I can’t chat in any of my games?
Completely understand I broke the rules, however, in this instance it wasn’t abuse or anything, just friendly banter.
How can I change the settings so I can chat with my friends again? Help please and thank you.
