help with translation from spanish.

If someone from Spain or S.A. wanted to insult they would invariably call you a puto or Hijo de Puta, abbreviated HDP.
hahaha.
It wasn't an insult. It was someone being polite by saying Damnit, I lost and I really diddn't want to.

AHhhh, that's a different story. Bob don't hit the send button. Its gonna make you look foolish. Besides, the mods are busy cleaning up fool language like post 27. I'm reporting him.
Reply "Well, shit happens, you know." (And suggest a re-match.)
Life can be pretty shitty, after all.

Your gonna report WHAT?? You want an affidavid?? Language?? Where?? must be that new medication your on. Now its got you seeing things.

Naw, we're too busy having fun Get a life?? Did he just insult me?? I'm reporting him. Wait a minute. I need help translating the English language. NOT THAT ONE. The military English language. GET A LIFE. sounds more like a COMMAND than a suggestion. I have the right to question those orders sir.

Heh, I know. I'M a poor bastard. Report me. Than I can get in trouble FOR NOTHING!! hahahahaaaa. Then I can ask Erik for a presidential pardon.

"pues vaya mierda" is basically the slang equivalent of 'well go f*** yourself.'
--I'm currently a spanish student at the intermediate level who has done a bunch of community work with spanish speakers.

After all that, now we have the FOX news translation, so was he just saying it to himself, or was he saying it to Robert Andersson?? Maybe he thought you were in the Matrix??

I answered you in the millenials thread. You wanted to start a fight with me in another thread, so I move over here because I saw the word help. Now you wanna fight with me over here. WHO needs to get a life?? In 4 yrs you have 3 friends on this site. Its gonna take a little more than THAT to change my account, but good luck with that. Erik and Kohai work hard. They can use a good laugh every now and then.
yes it might not be totally clear if the person is having a go at himself or his opponent. It could be what a pile of crap i just played

Well, given the fact that I'm spanish, and that I use that expression a lot, I can say without any doubt that it could be translated as "well, that sucks/sucked". We use this sentence to express disappointment. 100% sure.

We'll never call you a "puto" that's Mexican. We use "puto" in a different way.
vaya by itself in speech, not literally, means "aaaahhh" or "Come on"
Vaya pues, means "well then" or in this case "bummer"
mierda =sh1t, but it is used as we use Damn in English.
