so wouldnt it be cool if chess.com made a bot called "you" like you could play a bot version of yourself

all of our games our documented so couldn't you just like plug that into a bot and make the bot play your openings and play like you do ex: aggressively defensively tactical positional

idk just a random idea im very bored

hey, good idea, I can send this directly to the lead dev and see if they think they can do it.

That's a fun idea, but I do not do any coding for chess.com; that sounds like a difficult idea from a coding standpoint. I don't know for sure though. Maybe it could work.

would really just be machine learning taking from your games database only for a Chess bot, tbh it could probably be done through TORCH depending on how it functions.

Then I would play very bad against bots, and when I would play against him, I would beat it simply.

Cool idea! Due to the work to create I feel it would be best included in paid memberships.

You would need quite a few games to get anything close to resembling a particular player and probably train an NNUE based net that tends to play similarly; that's highly unlikely to be done.

Something like a basic opening book and engine rating bot is more feasible and that's not really a bot that plays like you.
